Hola chicos. With so many changes so fast, please
submit all work in handwritten format. I have only received assignments from 5
of you electronically. If you haven't submitted the work to me yet, please hold
off until Monday and submit it handwritten.
*If you snapped a photo of the assignment, please submit the original copy on
Monday.
**Each assignment must include your name, the date, and the page and exercise
numbers.**
Please be attentive to all communication from the school. We are waiting for the
Zoom classroom schedule.

Espero que en esta oportunidad al comunicarnos a traves de la tecnología podamos
aprender español con disciplina y tratar de esforzarnos en cumplir nuestros 40
minutos diarios durante la semana. ¡Yo sé que ustedes lo logran!
I hope that in this opportunity of communicating remotely we can learn Spanish
with discipline and by pushing ourselves to studying 40 minutes each day during
the week. I know you can do this!
Usa el libro de gramática ´Por todo el mundo.´ You will work on Chapter 16,
pages 241-245.
Wednesday: p. 241, Lesson 1a and 1b: Form questions using the information given.
Ex. ¿Tiene usted un abuelo italiano? You should form 12 questions from 1a and 8
questions from 1b. p. 242, Lesson 4: Form 8 total questions (4 with ´al profesor
de´ and 4 with ´a la profesora de´). Mix and match Ud. and Uds., Lesson 5:
Create questions that make sense. Ex. ¿Es el autor una persona que publica?
Thursday: p. 242, Word Formation Review: Adjectives
Create 20 original sentences using 20 of the adjectives given. Remember, these
adjectives are called cognates, words that are very similar in both English and
Spanish. **Use https://www.wordreference.com/ to look up how to say these
adjectives in Spanish as well as for other words you may want to use.
Friday: pgs. 243-245
Study pgs. 243-244. Consider what we've learned about adjectives.
Do the exercises on p. 245.

Read and review pgs. 69-70 in your Chapter 8, Direct-Object
Pronouns (D.O.P.) packet. Re-familiarize yourselves with the Spanish
Direct-Object Pronouns. Review the answers on p. 70 that we did in class
together.
Do p. 71, exercises C and D. Then, read paragraph 2 (Historia) of ¿Qué Pasa en
la Clase? p. 122 in your Por todo el mundo Grammar Book. Write down any
unfamiliar words and translate them. Answer questions 6-10 from p. 124 in
complete sentences.
Tuesday
Read part b. on p. 72 of your D.O.P. packet Do exercises E and F pgs. 72-73. Read paragraph 4 (Educación física), p. 122 in your Grammar Book. Write down any unfamiliar words and translate them. Answer questions 16-20 in complete sentences.
Wednesday
Read part c. on p. 73 of your D.O.P. packet Do exercises G and H on pgs. 73-74. Read paragraph 5 (Biblia), p. 123 in your Grammar Book. Write down any unfamiliar words and translate them. Answer questions 21-25 in complete sentences.

Write down any unfamiliar words and translate them. Answer questions 31-35 in
complete sentences.
*Remember that all work is due this Friday, March 27th. You may do Friday's
work Thursday night or Friday morning.

lunes 30 de marzo- Complete exercises F and I in the
direct-object pronouns packet. For exercise F, the odd numbers should be
affirmative and the even numbers should be negative.
Read pgs. 224-226 in the Por todo el mundo grammar book. These are the singular
possessive adjectives. *Pay attention to the drawings to understand who is
talking.
martes 31 de marzo- Complete exercise I. on p. 227. The
drawings represent to whom the object belongs. For example: 1. su disco. The
drawing shows usted. 8. tu disco. The drawing show tú because it says "personal"
before the drawing.
miércoles 1 de abril- Exercise II. on p. 227.
